Gilutongan Island (Also known as Hilutongan) is no doubt an underwater paradise in Cordova, Cebu. It is one of the six satellite islets in Olango, an island that also includes Sulpa, Nalusuan, Caohagan, Pangan-an, and Camungi.
Gilutongan is a very small island with at least 200 households. This island is a getaway destination for those who want to feel the rush of the ocean. People living here are very much hospitable and kind (That’s the spirit of the Filipino).
The island is simply around the Mactan range. The jumping spot was totally great however the foods here are a bit expensive. If you’re on a budget which I guess not you can bring your own food.

Tips and Advisory
Be sure you are ready for everything before going to this island. This place is great for a diving destination, however, restaurants are pricey, and boat rental is also the same. Be careful of sunburn. Better be there in the early morning!
