Breathtaking Virgin Island in Bantayan and its Locals

Living in Cebu City is like winning a lottery for a lifetime, Why? because Cebu is blessed with so many lovely white sand beaches and beautiful islands one good example is Virgin Island. There is a total of 167 smaller neighboring islands itself alone, Plus, this city is also known for its historic tourist destinations. No doubt Cebu is the queen city of the south in the Philippines.

One of my favorite destinations for island hopping is the Silion Island (Better known as Virgin Island) in Bantayan.

• Camotes

Guide from Cebu to Bantayan Island

The best and the quickest way to get to Bantayan is to get a bus to Cebu North Bus Terminal traveling to Hagnaya port. From Hagnaya, you can take the ferry boat to Bantayan. You can also hire a cab to take you to the port but it’s a little expensive since you have to pay in double.

Travel Time Cebu To Bantayan

The exact time from Cebu City to Bantayan via Central Nautical Hwy is 4 hours and 54 minutes (139.8 km) depending on the traffic. Via Cebu Transcentral Hwy and Antonio Y De Pio National Hwy is about 4 hours and 48 minutes (157.0 km). Via Antonio Y De Pio National Hwy is about 5 hours and 20 minutes.
