I am really not sure if I am the right person to blog about this because as a Filipina, there are a lot of advantages and disadvantages to living in the Philippines. But as a person who loves to travel, I noticed that there are a lot of things that we should be proud of as citizens of the Philippines. In line with this, I listed down 5 Things I Like About The Philippines.

Filipino Hospitality
I often read articles about how hospitable Filipinos are. These authors are foreign and I really cannot believe how thankful they were for the hospitality that Filipinos have given them during their stay in our country. I personally experience Filipino Hospitality during my out-of-town trips and there isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t appreciate it and their love for tourists.

The Beaches
The Philippine Archipelago is home to more than 7,107 islands, most boasting at least one or two stunning beaches. If you want to stretch out and relax on the beach, snorkel, scuba dive, or just soak in the water for a while, our country, the Philippines is a perfect place to be! One of which is Moalboal and it’s good for scuba diving and snorkeling.

The Mountains
My friends know how I love hiking the mountains so much and I am very thankful that the Philippines is home to many mountains with the most incredible views! My favorite place to hike in the country is somewhere up North – The Cordilleras to be exact.

The Food
Filipino food is one of the best cuisines in the world! I am not trying to be biased but it is definitely true. So many colors, textures, and flavors that will definitely make your stomach rumble all the time!

Filipino Values
We are known for being hospitable and friendly but my personal favorite Filipino Value is being family-oriented and I think it is something to be proud of. We love to do things and bond with our families and we wouldn’t mind taking care of our beloved grannies.
