Taiwan is one of the best pool countries in the world, not just in Asia. To name a few world champions from this country, Ko Pin-yi and Chao Fong-pang. As a result, we’ve compiled a list of the top ten Taiwanese pool players.
Fu Che-wei made his first notable appearance when he finished among the top 32 competitors in the 2004 WPA World Nine-ball Championship (losing to Earl Strickland). He made a comeback at the 2006 event, he was eventually eliminated by runner-up Ralf Souquet in the semi-finals. The performance would win and earn him a place in the following year's event but was eliminated in the second round to Mika Immonen.

Lo Li-wen
In 2010, Lo Li-wen won the 1st place in the 2010 JPBA ranking with an amazing record of 3 wins in the domestic open game and 3 wins in GP / EAST. In 2015, 2016, 2017 and Asian Championships, he won the championship and achieved the third straight victory.

Kuo Po-cheng
Kuo Po-cheng finished first runner-up to Wu Chia-ching in the 2005 World Nine-ball Championship held in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. He was also runner-up to Francisco Bustamante in the 2010 WPA World Nine-ball Championship held in Doha, Qatar.

Cheng Yu-hsuan
Cheng Yu-hsuan, also sometimes known as Kevin Cheng. Yu-Hsuan reached world number 1 in 9-Ball in 2016, following winning U.S. Open 9-Ball Championships in 2015. He also reached the semi-finals of the 2016 WPA World Nine-ball Championship; where he would lose to Shane Van Boening 11–9.

Chang Yu-Lung
Chang Yu-lung is a Taiwanese pool player, and winner of the 2015 World Cup of Pool alongside Ko Pin-yi. Yu-Lung won the 2015 Steinway Classic defeating Ko Ping-chung in the final.

Ko Ping Chung
Ko Ping Chung is the younger brother of Ko Pin-yi. In November 2010, Ko Ping-chung reached his first major final the All Japan Open. However, he lost in the final against the German Thorsten Hohmann.

Yang Ching-shun
Yang Ching-shun is a Taiwanese professional pool player. Yang won the nine-ball event of the 1998 Asian Games against then World Pool champion Kunihiko Takahashi. He defended it in 2002 against Warren Kiamco.

Chao Fong-pang
Chao Fong-pang won the WPA World Nine-ball Championship in 1993 against Thomas Hasch of Germany. Thus, he became the first Asian to win a world title in pocket billiards.

Chang Jung-lin
Chang Jung-lin became WPA World Eight-ball Champion in 2012 and won the silver medal at the 2013 World Games for Nine-ball. Jun-Lin is a former world number 1, having done so first after winning WPA World Eight-ball Championship in 2012.
